Automatically controls damper for accurate and quiet pressure relief necessary in most zone control applications.
Automatically “leak” airflow into non-calling zones.
The ECOJAY SmartStaticTM accessory panel is used in conjunction with the ECOJAY Static Pressure Sensor (ASPC-3) to open zone dampers for zones that are not calling for the same mode just enough to reduce the pressure in the ducts to an acceptable level.
This can, in some situations, allow for the elimination of a bypass damper or other pressure relief methods.
NOTE: ASPC-3 is needed for SmartStatic to automatically operate. If you do not already have one, please select “WITH ASPC-3”

The Outdoor Air Thermostat uses an outdoor temperature sensor to control the “Fresh Air” option built into the SmartZone-4X. Every SmartZone-4X has a built-in “Fresh Air Control” option that can be enabled…[Click to learn more about this feature]
The Outdoor Air Thermostat allows you to set HIGH and LOW outdoor temperatures. Above the HIGH or below the LOW fresh-air intake will not run. In other words, you can tell the SmartZone-4X that you do not want fresh air to run when it is too HOT and/or too COLD outside.
Also, the Outdoor Air Thermostat gives you the ability to “demand” fresh air temporarily (in 5 minute increments)… AND, disable (pause) the automatic fresh air from running using the Outdoor Air Thermostat.
PLUS NOW the Outdoor Air Thermostat can be used to enable the ECONOMIZER (Free Cooling) feature on the SmartZone-4X board. In the past, we have used an Enthalpy Sensor to enable or disable the ECONOMIZER feature of SmartZone-4X but the cost and reliability of these types of humidity and temperature sensors can be prohibitive. The Outdoor Air Thermostat can be and affordable and effective way to utilize ECONOMIZER mode on the SmartZone-4X.

Simple way to get more energy savings from SmartZone. Use this switch to enable ECO Mode easily. ECO Mode puts the entire zone control system in a "setback or away" state by disabling equipment control for all zones except ZONE 1. Dampers will still open and close as needed but ONLY ZONE 1 will be able to energize heat or cooling.
