For over 10 years, ECOJAY has used it’s iconic enclosure for SmartZone and related products. It was first conceived as a drastic improvement and upgrade from the original SmartZone enclosure first brought to market almost 20 years ago.
The NEW enclosure (Verson 3) started in the design process during 2020 but was shelved because of obvious reasons. It was, thankfully, resurrected after an increased focus on weight reduction for shipping. This has given us the opportunity to tweak and improve some of the few shortcomings of the Version 2 enclosure.
With the aid of modern design tools such as Fusion 360 and 3-D printing for rapid prototyping, our process of designing a new enclosure is much more thorough and exacting. This means we could try lots and lots and lots of new things to dial in the most durable and user friendly enclosure system on the market.
