Control any damper with any thermostat using this interface board from ECOJAY.
Connect any standard thermostat (24VAC) to the input of this board along with a 24VAC transformer, then connect any 24VAC damper to the output (3-wire dampers recommended)
In normal operation (AUTO), the damper will remain closed unless the thermostat make a “call.” Depending on which wires are connected, the damper will open when the thermostat calls for HEAT, COOL or BOTH. Additionally, the ECOJAY Damper Direct Controller Incudes a manual over-ride switch to easily open the damper any time it’s needed.
When more than one damper per zone is needed, this adapter can be used to make wiring easy and organized.
SmartZone can handle up to 10 dampers per zone!

Use this custom adapter to replace Carrier/Johnson damper motors with Ecojay or Belimo style damper actuators. This is made for dampers with a 1/2” diameter short shaft (only 0.5” to 1.2” sticking out of damper.)
Automatically “leak” airflow into non-calling zones.
The ECOJAY SmartStaticTM accessory panel is used in conjunction with the ECOJAY Static Pressure Sensor (ASPC-3) to open zone dampers for zones that are not calling for the same mode just enough to reduce the pressure in the ducts to an acceptable level.
This can, in some situations, allow for the elimination of a bypass damper or other pressure relief methods.
NOTE: ASPC-3 is needed for SmartStatic to automatically operate. If you do not already have one, please select “WITH ASPC-3”
